ARIZONA: THE GRAND CANYON STATE

We left Arizona June 24 and we’ve been traveling over the past four days.  I hope you follow along with us as we meet some of the most patriotic individuals living in this awesome country of ours.

Giving Out Thanks

  • My First stop was to drop off some unserviceable flags and present the very first “Thank You” plaque to Stephen Franklin, the Sandy Coor VFW Post 1433 commander, in Glendale Arizona…

  • The Vets4Vets Motorcycle organization was retiring unserviceable flags today and we thank them for taking care of that duty. There were over 2000 unserviceable flags retired during this event. (Stay tuned for more information on a future retired flag interment ceremony when I get back to Arizona)
